We require all students in these grades to complete the assignments. These packets are due on September 14, 2018, to your children's homeroom teacher.

Packets are available for pickup in the office with Sr. Taylor, or you can download the PDF version listed below.

In addition, we have summer enrichment packets available for purchase of $10 in the office for incoming KG and 1st grade students that are not mandatory.

    4th-10th Grade Summer Assignments

    Assalamu Alaikum,

    Dear Noble Parents,

Summer is a great time for your child to practice what he or she has learned throughout the school year. There is no better activity for your child than to engage in reading for enjoyment. Not only will your child discover the joy of getting lost in a book, he or she will practice the many skills and strategies he or she has learned all year.

Educators identify summer learning loss as a major challenge when starting off the new school year. However, students who read over the summer return to school ready to continue their learning.

This year, Noble Leadership Academy is requiring students in 4th-10th grade to complete two grade level novels and to complete one creative book report project for each. Students have a choice from a list. Please use your own judgement when choosing appropriate reading material for your son or daughter. We try to select novels that are both appropriate, meaningful, and engaging to our students. However, different families accept different ideas of propriety. A good website to use when trying to decide is a Rated Reads.

If none of the novels we selected are compatible to your son or daughter, you may select another and e-mail the teacher for approval. For the teacher to consider your selected novel, please e-mail the teacher with the novel title, author, description, and a brief reason why the novel was your choice. For teachers to accept novels, they must approve the novels beforehand. Please check out your child's reading assignment below.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact your child's grade level as listed below.
